Shahrukh Khan is back in Bollywood after the hits of the movies in 2012 such as Jab Tak Hai Jaan and in 2011 Don 2, Chennai Express is an Indian action + comedy film Which is Directed By all Known The Director Of the Comedy Films such as Golmaal 3,2 and 1,Rohit Shetty and Produced By wife of Shahrukh Khan Gauri Khan, The Lead Roles in The film are Shahrukh khan and Deepika Padukone ,This is second movie Together of the Shahrukh and Deepika after the great blockbuster hit of om shanti om in 2007. Chennai express is a movie of about the journey of a man from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the way. Principal photography started on the 27th of September in 2012. Filming was started in October 2012 and was wrapped-up by May 2013.

SRK and Shetty already decided to plan a team to make a remake of the 1982 film Angoor. After his recent hit film Singham, Rohit Shetty had started to write the script of his new film but after some time he left it mid-way. But before he forget, he had the script of Chennai Express ready to be related to Khan as a back-up due to the trouble of obtaining the actor's filming dates. in the lead being relate the script, Shahrukh Khan was frightened with the idea of Chennai Express and he was ready to work as a star in it before the remake of Angoor . With these happenings, the remake of Angoor was scheduled back.
Story Line of Chennai Express
When Rohit was asked about the story of the film, he said that, "The Movie is a hard-core commercial film with a loving angle. The story is about this man's travel from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey."
Casting of Chennai Express
Shahrukh Khan was the first actor to be move toward with the script, and therefore the first lead actor to be signed on with the film. Incidentally, Shetty stated that although the title, Khan would not take part in the role of a South Indian in the movie. Names such as Kareena Kapoor, Asin Thottumkal and Deepika Padukone were thought by the media. In an interview, a clearly angry Rohit Shetty deprived of all gossips surrounding the leading Actress, stating that the cast would be completed in April 2012 and that he was going to cast an established actress as the leading lady.on the other hand, in August it was officially announced that Deepika Padukone had been signed to play the lead opposite Khan. Principal photography began on 7 September 2012 and shooting started soon afterwards. Rohit Shetty wanted Manorama for the role of Deepika Padukone's aunt. Sathyaraj was later selected to play the role of Deepika's father and the main opponent of Chennai Express. Actress Priyamani was selected in late January 2013 for an item number in the movie.
Filming of Chennai Express
The filming of the movie was started on 5 October 2012 at Mehboob Studio in the Mumbai ,The lead actor Shahrukh Khan was dressed in black casuals and the actress of movie in a South Indian attire, wearing Kanjeevaram saree. Filming was completed at Chhatrapati Shivaji finishing point railway station with least amount of team members wherein the working shot of the lead actors were illegally released in the mid of October 2012.In November 2012, the cast and team was off to Goa for the first filming schedule.The Vasco da Gama Railway Station was used as a twice-up, represent Kalyan. A romantic scene on board a train passing next to Dudhsagar Falls was also shot. In mid of December 2012, the team was off to Jakarta for some scenes. The next schedule was supposed to proceed in Ooty but Khan opined that the selected place would be too distant as of profitable place, Mumbai. Hence, recreation of the lanes and by-lanes of Ooty along with some of its traveler’s spots was builded as a set on the outer edges of Panchgani in Wai by art director Narendra Ruharikar. It take more than 40 days to make the set and cost more than 1.5 crore INR.In the starting of January 2013, positive filming was done at the town Wai. A fire sequence characteristic of Khan was shot also. The exacting still was fetched a great deal in discussions in media and social networking websites. The Wai schedule ran for entire month of March 2013.A ten day shooting schedule started in Munnar, Kerala from mid of April 2013, scenes were filmed at Devikulam Lake and some other locations. The main agenda was finished in end of that month. The shoot had to be stopped for some days due to the heavy rainfall and the program was to some extent extended. In the Town Munnar a press discussion is also appointed. In May 2013, once more, definite scenes were canned in North of Goa, thus implementation of the final schedule of filming is done in the end of that same month.
